In order to promote the scientific exchange, establish the cooperation in area of Scientific Computing, strengthen, deepen and amplify the scientific cooperations between Brazil and China, the Laboratório Nacional de Computação Científica - LNCC/Brazil, with its partner the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics - IAPCM/China, is organizing the First Brazil-China Conference on Scientific Computing - BCSciComp2009 to be held in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil from September 21 to 25, 2009. The Second China-Brazil Conference on Scientific Computing will be held in 2011 in Beijing, China.The conference will have the participation of 30 invited speakers (15 for each country) and many other contributions from more important research groups in area of Scientific Computing in both countries. So, the conference can strengthen the existential cooperations and stimulate the scientific interaction between two countries including at the graduate student level .
